San Bernardino and Rialto to hold Groundbreaking for Pepper Avenue Improvement Project October 17
The Cities of San Bernardino and Rialto are inviting the public to attend a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of the Pepper Avenue Improvement Project.
Join elected officials from San Bernardino and Rialto, city staff, neighbors, and other community stakeholders to commemorate the multi-jurisdictional collaboration on a public works project that encompasses both cities.

Rialto High School - The southwest corner of Mill Street and Pepper
The project will encompass a two-mile section of Pepper Avenue that spans both Rialto and San Bernardino between Mill Street and Base Line Street. It will include pavement replacement and rehabilitation, as well as the installation of ADA accessible ramps and construction of new sidewalks to connect existing gaps.
Work is expected to be completed by mid-2023.
