Southern California Edison Warns
of Potential Public Safety Power Shutoffs
for parts of San Bernardino


Southern California Edison (SCE) has informed the City of San Bernardino that due to potential fire weather conditions, there may be a Public Safety Power Shutoff impacting high risk fire areas of the City from 6:00 am on Friday, October 18 through 12:00 pm on Saturday, October 19.

SCE will notify all customers who may be affected, including Critical Care and Medical Baseline customers.

This is just a warning and actual safety outages will be determined based on the weather conditions.

The impacted areas are north of I-210 and west of Waterman, extending toward Devore.

If power must be turned off, SCE will work to restore power as soon as possible.  Restoration information updates will be posted on www.sce.com/psps .
