San Bernardino, Calif. - On Friday, May 20, 2022, at about 11:53 pm, a shooting occurred at THA Blu Flame Lounge located at 3606 E. Highland Avenue #102 during a party that was advertised on social media platforms. Numerous callers called 911reporting that multiple people had been shot at the location. When officers arrived on scene they faced a very large crowd, many of whom were hysterical and uncooperative with officers, and initially it was difficult to determine what prompted the incident and how many people had been injured.
As the investigation continued, one victim was located deceased at the scene, and eight additional victims were identified. Some of these victims had self-transported to local hospitals prior to police arrival and were later contacted and interviewed.
After hundreds of hours of investigation into this incident, Vivasdelgado and a second juvenile suspect were identified as being responsible for the shooting.
On October 12, 2022, members of the San Bernardino Police Department's Specialized Investigations Unit, along with District Resource Officers,
conducted a traffic stop on Vivasdelgado's vehicle and took him into custody without incident. A search warrant was written for Vivasdelgado's residence and during the search two handguns, magazines, and ammunition were located, in addition to other items of evidentiary value.
On October 19, 2022, the juvenile suspect was located in the 4500 block of N. Little Mountain Drive in San Bernardino and he was arrested without incident. He is a documented gang member and was booked into a juvenile detention facility on the charge of murder.
