Dumping debris in any public street is strictly prohibited and punishable by a fine or jail time or both! REPORT ILLEGAL DUMPING BY CALLING 909-384-7272 OR BY CLICKING THE BLUE BOX AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE. (San Bernardino Municipal Code 12.44.060 and 1.20.010)

If you need to dispose of excess or bulky waste, such as tires, furniture, renovation scrap, stumps or large limbs from private trees, appliances, etc., please consider the following options:

1. FREE Large Pick-up Items -Call Burrtec at (909) 804-4222 to schedule a Bulky Item Pick Up on your next trash pick-up day. As a resident of San Bernardino, renting or owner, you receive two bulky item pick-ups per calendar year.

2. Donate usable goods to local thrift stores, or non-profit organizations.

3. Bring items to a Community Dump Day event available for free to City of San Bernardino residents. Click here for the most current schedule.

4. Take items to a San Bernardino County landfill.

5. Recycle metal scrap, tires, wood, concrete, etc., click here to learn what facilities accept these items.

6. Dispose of hazardous household waste at the San Bernardino County Collection center located at the San Bernardino International Airport, 2824 East "W" Street, Bldg. 302, San Bernardino, CA 92408. Hours of operation: Monday-Friday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
